About this experience
Discovered in 1906 just minutes from Palma, the Gènova Caves are a captivating natural marvel, meticulously sculpted drop by drop over centuries. In prehistoric times, Mallorca's natural caves served as essential habitats and shelters. Today, they enchant thousands with their breathtaking beauty.
Recently reopened to the public, these caves are the closest to Palma, the capital of the Balearic Islands. Their convenient location in the residential Génova neighborhood, part of Palma municipality, makes them easily accessible to visitors.
Like other caves and caverns in Mallorca, the Gènova Caves are formed from a series of subterranean limestone galleries, naturally interconnected by passages. The guided tour takes small groups through illuminated galleries, descending to a depth of about 36 meters.
To conclude your visit, we'll treat you to a complimentary glass of sangria made with local Mallorcan wine
